All games in the 2022 season will be played in Birmingham. The first game is scheduled for April 16 between the Birmingham Stallions and the Commanders of New Jersey. Fox and NBC will broadcast the game. According to the USFL, this will mark the first simulcast of the same football game by networks not owned by the same company since Super Bowl I in 1967.
Over the course of 10 days, each team will play 10 matches. The playoffs will be open to the top two clubs in each section. The USFL Championship game will take place on Sunday, July 3, at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, where playoff games will be held.

The league will also incorporate new technology and some rule tweaks to help enhance the game. One of them includes adding the option of attempting a three-point conversion from the 10-yard line after scoring a touchdown.
Additionally, there will be a completely new set of extra time regulations. The team did attempt three alternating two-point attempts over time. Wright was an All-American unanimously as a freshman in 2014 and the Pac – 12 Defensive Player of the Year. That season, he also took home a number of honors and led the country in total tackles.
The Cleveland Browns selected Wright in their seventh-round document in 2016. Additionally, he participated in the XFL and AAF with the DC Defenders and Arizona Hotshots, respectively.
Shawn Poindexter – Arizona (Breaker of New Orleans wide receiver)
Shawn Poindexter, a past wideout for the Wildcats, was the second receiver in the 2022 USFL review. He participated in 35 activities over the course of his job at Arizona. His 2018 single-season school record for touchdown events is tied.
In 2019, Poindexter signed as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers. His attempt to join the team as a quarterback was thwarted, though, by an ACL tear he sustained during training camp. In 2020, the 49ers added him to their training team, but he never received an NFL call-up.
Breaker of New Orleans head coach Larry Fedora has a reputation for running no-huddle offenses that look to score on every play. So Poindexter has a chance to see a lot of action.
Christian Sam – Arizona State (Thieves in Tampa Bay linebacker)
Hard-hitting cornerback Christian Sam is a label Sun Devils followers may recall. At ASU, he played school basketball with great success. He was chosen by the New England Patriots and had the chance to learn from the best even though he had not participated in an established NFL game. That group later went on to win Super Bowl LIII.
Sam is expected to spearhead the Thieves in Tampa Bay defense, which some say could be the best in the league.
Case Cookus – Northern Arizona (Stars of Philadelphia quarterback)
That & rsquo is correct. Even the little man receives some affection. As the player for the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, Case Cookus experienced a roller coaster ride. He won the Jerry Rice Award, which is given to the FCS’s most outstanding freshman, and was named & nbsp, Freshman of the Year for being a true freshman.
However, injuries started to pile up, and he couldn’t recapture that early success. He’s bounced around the NFL and the CFL since college. Now, he will be the backup QB on the Stars of Philadelphia.
