The SolSports, the first retail casino in the region, was just opened by Casino Del Sol.
For more than two times then, Arizonans have been enjoying legal sports betting from their phones. However, only residents of the underground Phoenix area have access to the Vegas-like feeling of placing a bet at the ticket window.
No longer.
SolSports is now accepting bets on Arizona sports wagering.
SolSports is a 4, 000 square foot location with more than 60 TVs, including giant flat screens and high-definition video walls, for watching all the major sporting events. At sixlive seat author counters or eight self-service betting kiosks, customers can place bets.
Next to the lotto hall in the game is where you’ll find the new betting. There is space for more than 100 bettors, a whole bar, and food service. On the menu, customers may find game-day favorites like steaks, hot dogs, and chicken arms.
“Our team developed a truly fantastic environment for sports fans to enjoy all of the game day action,” Kimberly Van Amburg, CEO of Casino Del Sol, said ahead of the opening. “And we are thrilled to welcome Tucsonans to experience the excitement of in-person sports betting at SolSports.”
SolSports leverages Scientific Games’ OpenSports technology to power its sports betting service. At the same time, Casino Del Sol will be the sportsbook’s operator and bookmaker. Officials say SolSports is offering the most competitive lines in Arizona.

Arizona is seeing an increase in financial casinos
SolSports joins the expanding list of locations across the state despite being Tucson’s primary retail casino. In the Phoenix area, there are six additional financial books.
- Inside of Chase Field is Caesars Sportsbook.
- FanDuel Sportsbook is housed inside the Footprint Center.
- Barstool Sportsbook is situated at Phoenix Raceway.
- BetMGM Sportsbook is housed in Gila River Hotels & amp, Vee Quiva Casino, Wild Horse Pass, and Lone Butte.
more list sportsbooks inside tribal casinos are on the way. The Tohono O’odham Nation plans on opening on-site sportsbooks at the tribe’s Desert Diamond Casinos. There is no exact date for the launches at this time. However, there are plans to join the AZ online sports betting market down the road.
Wholesale casinos will be run by Kambi Group at the Glendale, Tucson, and Sahuarita areas. Kambi will set up self-service kiosks, bring-your-own-device technology, and the company & rsquo in-event parlay product.
Arizona & rsquo, meanwhile, is permitted to start the process of opening their own retail sportsbooks. Plans are still being developed, according to Harrah & rsquo, s Ak – Chin Hotel & amp, Casino in Maricopa. Under their agreements, all tribal games are permitted to offer financial sports betting.
On the other hand, more Arizona & rsquo sports venues will soon have retail sportsbooks. A financial casino was installed inside State Farm Stadium by the Arizona Cardinals and BetMGM. In anticipation of the 2022 NFL season, the company hopes to start the facility. In the meantime, a sportsbook run by & nbsp, DraftKings, will soon open at TPC Scottsdale for the PGA Tour.
